Pair of signatures by silver screen dancing duo Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Rogers' autograph appears on a sheet likely used at the first annual Kennedy Center Honors. She inscribes the page in green ink: ''Blessings / from / Ginger Rogers / 1978''. Printed to verso is a partial guest list under the heading ''page 8 - reception 12/3/78''. This was the date of the first Kennedy Center Honors. Guests on the list include Tennessee Williams, Cindy Williams, and members of Congress. Measures 8.5'' x 5.75''. Toning, pencil notation to bottom edge, staple hole to lower left corner, and tape bit to verso. In very good condition. ''Fred Astaire'' signs a separate blank sheet in the same green ink. He was a Kennedy Center honoree that year. Measures 8.5'' x 8.25''. Creasing and pencil erasure, else near fine. Autographs were reportedly both obtained at the award ceremony reception.
