Lot of two items handwritten and signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt; an autograph note signed FDR and an autograph note signed Pa to his son. (1) Autograph note signed ends with the President's famous initials ''FDR'' reading, ''$300 - Keep detailed account in writing / Suggest fly only to Minneapolis & take train to where I am. / Mc will wire you any changes in my itinerary. / OK FDR''. ''Mc'' likely refers to Roosevelt's physician, Dr. Ross McIntire, who often controlled his schedule. Note is written on the verso of a ''New York Central System'' card. (2) Autograph letter signed to Roosevelt's son, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jr., reads in part, ''F. Jr. / Please send me check for $53.65 to pay Jimmy for Broadway / Jim's bill for theatre tickets - Receiver was ready to put in collector's [?] with obvious [?] - Ran for 1 1/2 years / Pa''. Both items in pencil, in very good condition.
