As spouse of President William Henry Harrison, Anna was First Lady for only one month, from 4 March 1841 to 4 April 1841 when Harrison died of a cold he ostensibly contracted on Inauguration Day. Signed ''free Anna Harrison'' in the upper right corner of the sheet, addressed by Harrison to her cousin ''Henry L. Sheldon, Esq. / Middlebury / Vermont''. Stamped from her home in Cleves, Ohio on 27 February (no year). Page measures 5.75'' x 3.25''. Very good plus condition.
