William Faulkner first edition, first printing of his Civil War novel, ''The Unvanquished'' in a first printing dust jacket. New York: Random House, 1938. Measures 5.75'' x 8.25''. With glossy photo of Faulkner affixed to front free endpaper. Light shelf wear, slightly cocked, some toning and light discoloration. Overall very good. Unclipped dust jacket showing $2.50 price is also very good with toning to spine and chipping along top edge.
