Official Cuban government document, signed both ''Fidel Castro'' as Prime Minister and initialed ''F.C.'' Typed document is a presidential decree, dated 20 March 1959 and typed upon stationery from ''Republica de Cuba / Presidencia''. Document in Spanish is untranslated and countersigned by Manuel Urrutia Lleo as president, a position he held for just six months. With presidential seal affixed near signatures. Full signature appears on the second page and initials appear on the first page; other initials on the first page are likely by Urrutia. 2pp. document measures 9'' x 13.75''. Toning, foxing to bottom edge of the first page, filing holes to left margins and staple punctures to upper left. Overall in very good plus condition.
