Published by Horace Liveright: New York: 1931, this is number 281 of 550 numbered copies of the play cycle, of which 500 were for sale. Its limitation page is signed, ''Eugene O'Neill'' in black ink. O'Neill's retelling of Aeschylus' ancient Greek tragedy, the ''Oresteia'' is considered a staple of American literature. Runs 256pp. Its deckled edge leaves come bound in vanilla paper boards. Measures 6.5'' x 9.75''. Toning to edges and light soiling to boards, else fine.
