Ludendorff was a leading proponent of the antisemitic ''Stab-in-the-back myth'', and here pens a nationalistic German sentiment. Dated 2 October 1919, quote translates from German in full, ''May we learn to become Germans once more after this great fall, and be proud of it as a remembrance to the heroes who fell believing in German's greatness, and who are now sorely missed by the Fatherland! / Ludendorff''. Written in black fountain pen on stiff card measuring 8.5'' x 6.125''. Uniform toning, overall very good condition. With R&R COA.
