Lot of 7 Enzo Ferrari typed letters signed, ''Ferrari'' in purple ink. Upon Ferrari logo stationery, Enzo writes to one Dr. Francesco Santuccione in Italian. Letters date between 24 November 1982 and 21 December 1984. Content translates in part to, ''...the arguments that you are proposing take my memory back to an exciting era of motor car sports which I remember with so much pleasure. I am sending you a copy of my memoirs where you will find more material for the project...of the introduction of two chicanes in the Pescara circuit, I know what happened because I have discussed it previously, I value the motivations and share the purposes...I am gathering material such as posters and signs of Grand Prix and motor car races or similar. There is nothing among your papers that could have been reproduced in colour...could you advise me who to contact in order to obtain any such posters, and in particular the one of the Acerbo Cup 1933...The project is still at an embryonic stage, and during this period it requires discretion, because we don't want that any adventurer from the editorial sector burning this idea. But if the project, as I think, will go to completion, your material is beautiful, very appropriate...I have this morning met Mr. Moretti, the architect, again regarding the argument of your project. Moretti has shown high interest and asks me to suggest to you a meeting which would be very interesting for the future. You can write to him to the company 'Edizioni di Autocritica' Rome...I have received your letter dated 16 December with the first chapter of your project dedicated to the Acerbo Cup...'' Accompanied by 5 of the original envelopes. Each letter runs 1pp. and measures 6.25'' x 8.25'', save for one measuring 7.5'' x 11.25''. All letters show a horizontal crease through center and are in near fine condition.
