The Emperor of Japan, Prince Akihito signed photo as a young man. Large photo, signed upon the silver gelatin print by the Prince, measures 6'' x 8.75'', affixed at top to a presentation mat measuring 10'' x 13''. Minute chip to lower right of photo, and light wear to mat, otherwise near fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned photo of the Prince's mother, the Empress Kojun, measuring 7'' x 9.5''. An impressive presentation.
