Daytime Emmy nomination for Marlena Laird's direction of ''General Hospital'' from 1982-1983. Laird won twice and was nominated five times for Outstanding Direction Daytime Emmy's. She is also a DGA award winner, and was the youngest woman ever to direct a television movie. The certificate is signed by John Connor as president of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, as well as by Lee Polk as Chairman of the Board. Inlaid in a wooden plaque with gilt trim and a high-gloss finish. Measures 11'' x 13''. Fine.
