The future King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in 1936 (thus becoming the Duke of Windsor), is shown on a 1919 state visit to Canada in his Grenadier Guards uniform. He signs, ''Edward P. / Nov. 1919''. The 4.75'' x 6.5'' Pringle & Booth, Toronto, photo, is matted to an overall size of 8.25'' x 10.5''. Near fine condition.
