Dwight Eisenhower signs ''Ike'' as President in black ink to a letter typed on his personal gilt-monogrammed White House stationery dated 17 December 1958. Eisenhower responds to his brother's letter by writing, ''...By no means did I mean to interfere in your program for your birthday celebration...I talked to Bill Rogers about your friend Bantz. He is enthusiastic about him but of course any decision must wait on the necessary investigations...'' A copy of Edgar's letter is included. 7'' x 10.5''. Punch holes, else near fine.
