Dwight Eisenhower signs ''DE'' as President to a typed letter datelined Augusta, Georgia, 19 April 1955 on White House stationery to his brother, whose asks Eisenhower for a tour of 10 Downing Street. Letter reads in part, ''Dear Edgar: When we get back to Washington, I shall make inquiries as to whether visitors are ever admitted to No. 10 Downing Street. If my belief that they are not is correct, I would not want to ask for a special dispensation for Mr. Crockwell's group because of the precedent that would be set...'' Measures 7'' x 9''. Creasing, else fine.
