Dwight Eisenhower signs a typed letter as President on White House stationery to his brother Edgar Eisenhower dated 22 October 1954. In response to Edgar's letter advising him to dispatch the Republican National Commitee on a touring campagin for the Congressional elections, he writes, ''...if I could get someone to put enough steam behind it, the plan would be completely successful...[signed] DE''. A copy of Edgar's letter is included. Measures 7'' x 10.25''. Trisecting creases and filing hole punches. Near fine.
