Eisenhower, an amateur painter, here draws the profile of a man, a sophisticated enough drawing for the subject to be recognizable. Sketch measures approximately 2.75'' x 4'' on a 8'' x 5.25'' sheet. Written on the verso in another hand is ''Thursday April 23rd 1953'', likely by the White House staffer who collected it. Some creasing, overall very good condition. From the collection of Malcolm S.
