Dwight Eisenhower signs ''D.E.'' to a letter typed on White House stationery dated 5 December 1958 to his brother. He writes, ''Dear Edgar: Attached is a copy of a letter I am writing to Mr. Williams. Actually I had read the book at one time or other and since he seems really to want it back, I thought this was the best way to handle the matter...'' Measures 6.75'' x 9''. Folds, punch holes and staple mark, else near fine.
