Dr. Seuss ''McElligot's Pool''. Random House: New York: 1947. A boy named Marco is told he can't catch anything in a polluted pool but his imagination creates all kinds of underwater possibilities. The illustrations by Dr. Seuss in this early 1947 book are shaded colored pencil rather than his later pen and ink drawings. Minor wear to edges of the 8.25'' x 11.25'' boards. Book without dustjacket is in very good condition.
