Kenneth Wilson's Dirac Prize. Of the four Dirac Prize categories, this silver medal represents the oldest: Advancement of Theoretical Physics from the University of New South Wales. Solid silver medal features the University's crest to front, circumscribed, ''The University of New South Wales''. Reverse features a brushed finish with inscription, ''DIRAC MEDAL / for / the advancement of / THEORETICAL PHYSICS / awarded to / KENNETH WILSON / 1989''. Plain rim features only a 925 silver stamp. Measures 2'' in diameter. Weighs 82 grams. Some tarnishing, else near fine, in its original velvet-lined case. With an LOA from Kenneth Wilson's widow.
