Claude Monet autograph letter signed, composed in his signature purple fountain pen. Dated 6 November 1899 upon letterhead from his Giverny estate, Monet writes to Monsieur Gravereau, who supplied Monet with his preferred wine. In this letter, Monet orders ''5 leaflets of red wine and 2 of white'', and tells Gravereau that he has empty wine casks to return to him. He signs at the conclusion ''Claude Monet''. Two pages measure 5.25'' x 8.25'' on bifolium stationery that fold out to one sheet. Folds, and lacking blank bottom half of second page, overall very good plus condition.
