Civil War magic lantern slide, picturing Little Round Top in the foreground on the left and Big Round Top on the right, from the vantage point of Plum Run Valley. It was at Little Round Top that General Joshua Chamberlain led the famous bayonet charge on advancing Confederate troops on the second day at the Battle of Gettysburg. From the collection of The Buckeye Stereopticon Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, glass slide measures 4'' x 3.25'', cased in a wooden holder measuring 7'' x 4''. Near fine condition.
