Civil War magic lantern slide, exhibiting a portrait photo of Confederate General George E. Pickett. The General is remembered for ''Pickett's Charge'', the unsuccessful assault on Union forces at Gettysburg that decidedly turned the momentum of the war from Confederate to Union. Glass slide measures 4'' x 3.25'', cased in wood measuring 7'' x 4''. Very good condition.
