Large document signed by Xu Shichang, President of the Republic of China from 10 October 1918 to 2 June 1922. Large formal document with calligraphic writing measures 21'' x 15'', folded for inclusion in the accompanying envelope sealed with ''Blue Sky with a White Sun'', the Presidential Seal of China. Light soiling to document and some foxing to envelope. Both items have a light, flexible coating on the paper, perhaps removable. Overall very good condition.
