''Blondie'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young from 27 February 1949, featuring Blondie, Dagwood, Alexander and Elmer the dog. In this 12 panel strip, Elmer (one of Daisy's puppies) steals a chicken from the counter, to Dagwood and Alexander's confusion. Strip measures 19.5'' x 17'', in two portions. Light toning and wear, overall very good condition.
