''Blondie'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young from 19 February 1933, featuring Dagwood and Blondie as newlyweds. In this 12 panel strip, the newlyweds host their ''first dinner party'' as a married couple, but can't cook for their guests. Blondie ultimately did learn to cook though, as nearly 60 years later she started her own catering business. Interestingly, it appears that this strip didn't run in its entirely, as a note penciled to top right reads, ''Blondie Top for 9 panel page / omit panels 1 3 + 6''. Strip measures 19.75'' x 15.25'', in two portions of roughly equal size. Light toning and minor wear, overall very good condition.
