''Blondie'' comic strip hand-drawn and signed by Chic Young from 2 February 1932, featuring Blondie, the Bumsteads and Dagwood on a hospital bed. In this 5 frame strip, Mr. Bumstead attempts to get an etherized Dagwood to sign a proxy marriage license so that his best man can marry Irma in his place. Measures 19.75'' x 5.25''. Toning, otherwise content of strip is near fine.
