''Peanuts'' Sunday comic strip hand-drawn and twice signed by its creator, Charles Schulz. Snoopy prepares to lead Woodstock and his bird pals Olivier, Conrad and Wilson on a ''Nature Hike'', but when snow is forecast, Snoopy advises his little friends to don mittens. To Snoopy's dismay, they take his recommendation literally, disappearing under mittens the size of their entire bodies. United Feature Syndicate, Inc. label is dated 1984; strip is noted as appearing on 2 December. 24'' x 17'' strip is signed on the last panel ''Schulz'' as the artist, and also inscribed: ''For [?] & Gordon - Best wishes / Charles Schulz'' in black marker. Toning and slight curling to edges; very good to near fine condition. A delightful strip featuring the ever-popular Woodstock with Snoopy.
