Charles Schulz original ''Peanuts'' four-panel strip, hand-drawn for publication on 30 March 1978. In this scene, Snoopy leads Woodstock and his bird pals on one of their notorious wilderness excursions, though one scout has trouble leaving modern living behind, a situation to which any parent can relate. United Feature Syndicate, Inc. label is affixed to the last panel. Strip measures 24'' x 7'', mounted to a foam board and matted to an overall size of 25'' x 9''. Schulz signs his full name to his autograph inscription just above the first three panels: ''For Barbara with every best wish -- Charles M. Schulz''. Light vertical crease to center and slight toning, else fine.
