Carl Jung typed letter signed, composed on his personal stationery on 11 February 1946. Writing to his mentee, Dr. Rivkah Scharf, Jung writes in full, translated from the original German, ''Dear Miss, Thank you very much for the explanation of 'riqma'! You need not take any further trouble concerning the word 'marez'; according to the text it will absolutely have to mean 'earth', and thus, in any case it is a garbled version of 'aerez'. / I am very grateful to you for the passages from the Song of Songs. They are very significant indeed for the Indian parallel. / Belated congratulations and best wishes to you for your birthday today. Vivat, crescat, floreat! / Warmest regards, / C.G. Jung''.
