Captain Kangaroo 9 contact sheets from 1957-1959. Sheets from the show's hit early seasons contain charming images of Bob Keeshan in costume and on set as the Captain, wielding brass musical instruments and likely rehearsing other segments, with a few images captured of his staff Lumpy Brannum as Mr. Green Jeans and puppeteer Cosmo Allegretti. Typed labels affixed to the bottom edge or verso of several sheets bear dates in 1957 and 1959, as well as the show's name and a brief caption. Glossy sheets measure 8'' x 10''. Wear to edges and staples to upper left corners. One sheet has red circles drawn around the images and another has adhesive labels affixed, else near fine.
