Bruce Lee's printed business card for his martial arts school, Jeet Kune Do, with hourly training rates printed. In 1959 Lee began teaching martial arts in the United States, founding his first school, Jun Fan Gung Fu (literally Bruce Lee's Kung Fu) in Seattle. Then, in 1967, Lee founded ''Jeet Kune Do,'' also known as ''JKD,'' which he described as a ''style without style'' or ''the art of fighting without fighting''. Front of card has the Jeet Kune Do red and gold yin/yang logo with his motto, ''Using No Way As Way, Having No Limitation As Limitation'' printed in Chinese, with his name, ''Bruce Lee'' printed at lower right. Verso of card reads ''Jeet Kune Do'' in both English and Chinese with rates printed beneath: ''Professional / Consultation & Instruction / $150.00 Per Hour / Non-Professional Tuition / $500 for Ten Sessions / Recommended by _____''. Card measures 3.5'' x 2'' with minor rubbing and wear. Very good condition.
