Stunning costume from the ''Legends of Broadway'' show that ran during the 1980's at the Academy Theater on Broadway. This costume was donned by Katie La Bourdette who reprised the role of Marilyn Monroe singing ''Heat Wave'' in ''There's No Business Like Show Business,''; the song was renamed ''Havin' a Heat Wave'' for the ''Legends of Broadway'' performance. Voluminous custom dress features a bright pink, red, orange, black and white bouffant skirt with sequin-trimmed edges. Black and hot pink bra-top is jewel-encrusted. Near fine. With a COA from Gene London, who obtained the costume directly from the actress.
