Certificate reads, ''...for the unselfish service...on the broadcast of February 5, 1939 over the Columbia Transcontinental Network from Hollywood, California.'' Signed by Jean Hersholt as President of the Relief Fund. Measures 8'' x 6''. Tucked into a navy blue presentation case with gilt lettering and golden silk moire lining the inside front cover. Faint toning and very light buckling to certificate and scuffing to exterior, else near fine.
