Bill Clinton, Yitzhak Rabin and Yasser Arafat signed display for the historic Oslo I Middle East Peace Accord. Signed in September 1993, Oslo I was the first time that Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization met in person to negotiate a peace accord. It established Palestinian self-government via the Palestinian National Authority and called for Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and West Bank. With many believing such an agreement was impossible, both Rabin and Arafat, along with Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994.
Large 20'' x 16'' photo shows Rabin and Arafat shaking hands, intermediated by President Bill Clinton. Signatures of all three men appear underneath their respective images, each signed in black felt-tip. Entire display measures 25.5'' x 26.5''. Near fine condition. With PSA/DNA COAs for all three signatures.
