Arthur Ashe's army discharge document. Ashe was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant. According to the form Ashe received the National Defense Service Medal. Single-page document is rubber stamped 12 March 1969 and bears an official's signature. Measures 8'' x 10.5''. Toning with a staple to the upper right and ink notes to the top edge, else near fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
