Very early Apple II series computer, manufactured in 1977 and with the maximum 48kb of RAM. The first Apple II computer was originally marketed and sold in two models, one with a mere 4kb of RAM which sold for $1,298, and one with 48kb of RAM selling for $2,638. Computer is serial number A2S1-1962, meaning that it is just the 1,962nd computer ever manufactured out of approximately 5 million. Computer base contains removable lid with Apple II logo engraved and original motherboard fully intact underneath. Includes original two disk drives, as well as gold power supply component. Computer measures 15'' x 18'' x 4''. Power supply measures 3.5'' x 10'' x 2.5''. Disk drives measures 6.25'' x 8.75'' x 3.5''. Light wear to outer computer. Components inside are in fine condition. An early testament to the aesthetics of Apple Inc. and the dawn of the information age.
