'APOLLO 13 NOUNS'' space-flown plate, listing the numerical codes that the Apollo 13 astronauts used to communicate with NASA in Houston. Several dozen two-digit codes are listed alongside their corresponding words, such as ''State Vector Time'' and ''Torquing .Ang'', intended to simplify the typing required in the early spacecraft computing system. A total of seven plates were used, another showing the codes for verbs, for example. Metal plate measures 7'' x 6.25'', with part number ''2898996'' stamped on it, matching the ''Temporary Parts Removal Tag'' from North American Rockwell that accompanies the plate.
