Very rare first edition Apollo 11 Operations Handbook for the Lunar Module 5 Eagle, dated 1 August 1968 with no subsequent change dates listed, no change notice on the title page, and listed as an Original issue. Handbook is Volume I, Subsystems Data, running 846pp, with hundreds of diagrams, fold-out charts, schematics and nearly every aspect of the Eagle's operation. Published by Grumman Aircraft, and housed in a blue 3-riing System Development Corporation binder measuring 10.5'' x 11.75''. With stamp on title page indicating copy belonged to J.L. Nevins; James L. Nevins was Division Director for Mission Development: Display and Human Factors for the Apollo program under Director D.G. Hoag. Some pages detached from binder, and light wear and toning, overall in very good condition.
