Obverse features the iconic Oscar statue in relief, flanked by text, ''The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences'', all surrounded by, ''Annual Still Photography Medal / 1940-1941''. Reverse reads ''Public Relations Institute / First Prize / Awarded To / Merritt Sibbald / For Outstanding / Achievement / Action Production / Still''. Two pairs of stars flank ''First Prize'' at the top. Measures 1.75'' in diameter. Weighs 24 grams. Housed in its original case lined in black velour, measuring 4'' square. Light tarnishing and scratching. Near fine.
