Interesting typed letter signed by Albert Einstein, dated 20 April 1954, one year before his death. Einstein's humorously pointed letter reads in full, ''The idea expressed in your letter of April 15th seems to me very foggy indeed, so that it seems to me not reasonable to invite you for a conversation on the basis of it. / Sincerely yours, [signed] A. Einstein''. Written on letterhead from Princeton's Institute for Advanced Study, School of Mathematics. Single page letter measures 5.5'' x 6.5'', with original envelope. Single fold, else near fine condition.
