Albert Einstein typed letter signed, with a lovely note to a Mr. Burnie Devine. Dated 15 June 1951, Einstein writes in full, ''Dear Mr. Devine: my sincere thanks together with the expression of my admiration for the beautiful handiwork which you have made under so difficult conditions. I have also been very much impressed by your courageous and harmonious attitude toward life. With my sincere thanks and kind wishes, sincerely yours, / [signed] Albert Einstein / Albert Einstein.'' With blindstamp at top showing Einstein's name and address, and also with the original transmittal envelope. Letter measures 8.25'' x 11''. Folds and small spot of soiling above center fold, otherwise fine condition.
