Adrian Greenberg costume sketch for Edith Atwater as Lady Vaughn in the 1936 film ''The Gorgeous Hussy''. Unsigned, but identified as Adrian by his style and that he was credited for the gowns on the film. Sketch is rendered on Vadun board measuring 15'' x 20''. Famously known as ''Adrian'' in Hollywood, Adrian Greenberg would go on to design Dorothy's ruby red slippers in ''The Wizard of Oz'. Some toning, light smudging to pencil and chip to bottom left, overall in very good condition.
