Two separate costumes from the classic 1935 drama, ''Clive of India''. The first was screen-worn by Montagu Love, who played Governor Pigot film starring Ronald Colman. Love's costume includes a peach floral brocade jacket with peach and gold striped moire silk cuffs. Includes original ''United Costumers, Inc.'' tag with ''Montague [sic] Love / 48 / #2'' handwritten in ink, as well as a second costumers tag safety-pinned reading, ''Montague [sic] Love / 11031''. Measures 20'' shoulder to shoulder x 40'' in length. Some loose snags, else very good condition. Leo Carroll played Manning in the film and his costume includes a burgundy and gold silk vest with a floral motif and nine gilt metal buttons. Again includes original United Costumers, Inc. tag with ''Leo Carroll 40'' and ''Leo G. Carroll / United Costumes / 9260'' handwritten. Measures 15.5'' x 28'' and is in very good condition.
