1916 ''Democratic Presidential notification'' pin, provided to guests attending the ceremony that would nominate President Woodrow Wilson to campaign for a second term in office. The red, white and blue ribbon is embossed in gold: ''DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOTIFICATION'' with the date and place of the ceremony: Shadow Lawn, New Jersey, 2 September 1916. A brooch with the framed word, ''GUEST'' holds the ribbon. Wilson would go on to win the 1916 election and serve a second Presidential term. The ribbon is in near fine condition.
