Broadside of the Declaration of Independence from its centennial in 1876. The commemorative broadside bears the entire text of the Declaration and facsimile of the iconic signatures. A text box to the lower right contains ad copy for a ''Fancy Goods'' retailer, and print to the bottom edge indicates the copyright of James D. McBride of the Columbia Publishing Company, New York, 1874. Single-page broadside on delicate paper measures 15'' x 19.5''. Small areas of paper loss, toning and light discoloration in spots. Overall very good condition.
