The novel ''Dr. Thorne'' by the acclaimed Victorian writer Anthony Trollope. New York: Harper & Brothers: 1863. Trollope was among the most popular and respected Victorian novelists, especially his ''Chronicles of Barsetshire'' series, of which this is a part. This U.S. edition spans 520pp. Bound in brown cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. In its original binding, with chipping to spine revealing the headband, and a vertical band repair on the front cover. Interior pages are very good with only minor foxing. Good condition overall.
