Original Hal Foster preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #2074 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 7 November 1976, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Lot also includes a typed story outline, describing the action. Both sheets measure 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and light wear, overall in very good plus condition.
