Original set of ''Four Freedoms'' posters by Norman Rockwell from 1943, the large format size of 40'' x 56''. Four posters depict ''Freedom of Speech'', ''Freedom of Worship'', ''Freedom from Want'' and ''Freedom from Fear'', four tenets of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1941 State of the Union address that were subsequently incorporated into the United Nations charter. Rockwell was so inspired by the speech that he created the oil paintings in 1943, which were then featured in ''The Saturday Evening Post'' and reproduced as war bond posters by the Office of War Information. Original posters have OWI printing information at bottom, including the date of 1943. Original folds and some discoloration to the margins of ''Want'' and ''Fear'', but otherwise in very good to near fine condition. Posters remain bright with very little toning.
