Margaret Thatcher personally owned silk dress, likely from the 1980s worn by the Prime Minister while in office. Sapphire blue custom-made silk party dress features a subtle flower pattern, with tiering in the back and on the side, a braided collar, bow detailing in front, and two side pockets. Back has self-covered buttons above the zipper, with a hook-and-eye closure at top. No size listed, but approximate medium-large. Measures approximately 48'' long and 30'' around the waist. Light wear, including cosmetic stains on inside of collar, overall very good condition. An attractive, colorful and luxurious dress, befitting a Prime Minister.
