Invitation, tickets, and parking pass for Harry S. Truman's presidential inauguration and reception on 20 January 1949. A pair of tickets to the inauguration are printed in blue and each admit one, to be seated in the Presidential Reviewing Section. Numbered 748 and 749, they measure 3.75'' x 2.5'' and are in near fine condition. The printed, formal invitation bearing a gilt presidential seal invites Mr. and Mrs. Hatten to the reception held at the National Gallery of Art at 5:15. It measures 5.75'' x 4.5'' and is in near fine condition. Accompanying is the envelope with White House printed in gilt, in very good condition. The yellow parking pass for the reception is near fine, and is printed with a map to verso.
