Walt Disney signed cel of Donald Duck from ''Der Fuehrer's Face'', the anti-German short made in 1943 to promote the U.S. war effort. Signed by Disney without inscription in brown wax crayon underneath cel, ''Walt Disney''. Cel was used in the marketing of the short, showing Donald Duck comically shouting into a phone, on an air-brushed background. Image measures 8.5'' x 7.5'' in frame measuring 15.5'' x 15.125''. With Walt Disney Productions label on verso. Cel was given to film critic Merle Potter, and then by descent to his family.
